Description

Peppers want warm soil far more than tomatoes do, so hold transplants until nights stay above 55 degrees rather than planting the week after last frost. Mulch well and water evenly, because blossom end rot and bitter fruit both trace back to swings between soaked and bone-dry soil. Peppers often drop flowers during 95-degree July stretches and then set a heavy second crop in September, so keep them fed and watered through the lull instead of pulling them. Shipped in a 4" Pot, well-rooted from our Lineville, Alabama nursery.

Why we only ship Mondays and Tuesdays

A plant in a dark box is on a clock. Shipping early in the week means it reaches you before the weekend instead of sitting in a warehouse from Friday to Monday. It costs us a day or two of lead time and saves a lot of plants.

Practically: an order placed Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or over the weekend goes out the following Monday. We'd rather tell you that now than let you find it in a tracking number.
