The snake plant (Dracaena/Sansevieria) is a nearly indestructible indoor plant with upright, architectural leaves that tolerate low light and infrequent watering. One of NASA's noted air-purifying plants, it's ideal for beginners, low-light rooms, and anyone who travels often. Offered in 4" and 6" pots, shipped well-rooted from our Lineville, Alabama nursery.

Why we only ship Mondays and Tuesdays
A plant in a dark box is on a clock. Shipping early in the week means it reaches you before the weekend instead of sitting in a warehouse from Friday to Monday. It costs us a day or two of lead time and saves a lot of plants.
Practically: an order placed Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or over the weekend goes out the following Monday. We'd rather tell you that now than let you find it in a tracking number.
How long it takes once it leaves

Pest Prevention
What to look for, and what to do about it. We grow without pesticides, so plants arrive clean but untreated.
- Mealybugswhite cottony specks tucked where a leaf meets the soil. Wipe them off with a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol. Check again in a week; they hide.
- Spider mitesfine webbing and a dusty, stippled look on the leaves. They move in when the air is dry and the plant is near a vent. Rinse the leaves in the shower and raise the humidity.
- Fungus gnatslittle black flies around the pot. They breed in wet topsoil, so this is a watering problem, not a bug problem. Let the top two inches dry out completely and they leave.
- Root rot is what actually kills snake plants, not insects. Soft, mushy, yellowing leaves at the base mean the roots stayed wet. Unpot, cut away anything soft, repot dry, and water less than you think.
- We grow without pesticides, so your plant arrives clean but not treated. A quick look-over every few weeks catches all of the above early.
