Description

These tropical rosettes are among the easiest colorful houseplants, thriving in ordinary room conditions and tolerating low humidity better than most tropicals. Water into the central tank rather than the soil, flush it fresh every week or two, and keep the potting mix barely moist. Each rosette blooms once and then produces pups you can separate and grow on. Shipped in a 4" Pot, well-rooted from our Lineville, Alabama nursery.

Care Instructions
  • Light: Bright indirect light indoors
  • Water: Keep the central cup filled; barely moist mix
  • Soil: Use a fast-draining bark or orchid-type mix - standard potting soil holds too much water.
  • Feeding: Feed a quarter-strength liquid fertilizer monthly in spring and summer only.

Hardy in zones 10a–11b. It won't take a hard freeze, so north of its range grow it in a pot and bring it in for winter.

Why we only ship Mondays and Tuesdays

A plant in a dark box is on a clock. Shipping early in the week means it reaches you before the weekend instead of sitting in a warehouse from Friday to Monday. It costs us a day or two of lead time and saves a lot of plants.

Practically: an order placed Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or over the weekend goes out the following Monday. We'd rather tell you that now than let you find it in a tracking number.

How long it takes once it leaves

Typical ground transit from Lineville, Alabama after the ship day. Estimates, not guarantees — weather and carrier backlogs happen.
