Description

In Alabama the traditional method is an annual planting: set June-bearing plants like 'Chandler', 'Camarosa', or 'Sweet Charlie' in the fall, mulch or plastic them through winter, and harvest a heavy spring crop. Everbearing and day-neutral types spread the harvest but slow down badly in July heat. Keep berries off wet soil with straw or plastic mulch and rotate beds to avoid crown and root diseases. Shipped in a 4" Pot, well-rooted from our Lineville, Alabama nursery.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping Policy Everything at Wade Greens is grown and packed by hand at our farm and nursery in Lineville, Alabama. How an order travels depends on what's in it.

Where we ship Plants, trees, bulbs, and merchandise ship anywhere in the lower 48 United States — houseplants, succulents, garden plants, saplings, flower bulbs, and apparel. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, or international addresses.
Fresh produce, microgreens, and cut flowers are available for local delivery and pickup in Alabama only. Because these items are perishable and picked at peak freshness, we do not ship them outside Alabama. You'll find our fresh items at local farmers markets and through local delivery and farm pickup.

Processing & handling
Orders are prepared fresh, so please allow 1–3 business days for us to pack and dispatch. Live plants and perishable items ship early in the week whenever possible to avoid sitting in transit over a weekend. You'll receive tracking by email as soon as your order is on its way.

Live plants & perishable items
Our plants are living things and are packed with care to travel safely. Minor leaf drop or a little travel stress is normal and typically resolves within a week or two of settling in. If a plant arrives damaged, email us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo and we'll make it right. Fresh produce, microgreens, and cut flowers are best enjoyed soon after delivery or pickup — please refrigerate on arrival.

Local delivery & pickup
Local Alabama customers can choose delivery or farm pickup at checkout on eligible items. We'll reach out to coordinate a time. Pickup is at our Lineville, Alabama farm.
