This Privacy Policy describes how Wade Greens, Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and discloses your personal information when you visit or buy from wadegreens.com.

What we collect, and why

Device and browsing information

Why: to load the site correctly for you and to understand how it is used so we can fix and improve it.

How: collected automatically through cookies, log files and pixels when you visit.

What: browser version, IP address, time zone, cookie data, which pages and plants you looked at, search terms, and how you moved through the site.

Shared with: Shopify, which hosts the store; Microsoft Clarity, which reports site usage to us.

Order information

Why: to fulfil your order — take payment, arrange delivery, send you confirmations and invoices, contact you about your order, screen for fraud, and send you marketing if you asked for it.

How: collected from you at checkout.

What: name, billing address, delivery address, payment details, email address, phone number.

Shared with: Shopify, which processes payments; the payment provider you choose at checkout (we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Shop Pay, PayPal, Google Pay, Amazon Pay and Apple Pay); and Klaviyo, which sends our email.

Customer support information

Why: to answer you and sort out problems with an order.

How: collected from you when you email us or use the chat on the site.

What: your name, email address, order number, and whatever you tell us about the issue.

Shared with: Klaviyo, which runs our support inbox and chat.

We do not buy marketing lists, and we do not combine your order history with data bought from anyone else.

Minors

This site is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, email us at the address above and we will delete it.

Who we share it with

We share personal information with the service providers named above, only so they can do the job we hired them for. The full list:

Shopify — hosts the store and processes payments. Shopify's privacy policy
Klaviyo — sends our email and stores your subscription preferences as well as our customer support inbox and on-site chat
Microsoft Clarity — reports how the site is used, in aggregate
Delivery partners — the carrier handling your parcel, given only what is needed to deliver it

We may also disclose personal information to comply with the law, to respond to a subpoena, warrant or other lawful request, or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as that term is defined under California law.

Advertising

We do not currently run targeted or retargeted advertising, and we do not use Shopify Audiences. If that changes we will update this policy and say so plainly before we start.

You can opt out of interest-based advertising generally at the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out portal.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for our accounts and tax obligations. Beyond that, you can ask us to erase your information at any time and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.

Automated decisions

We do not make automated decisions about you that have a legal or otherwise significant effect.

Shopify applies limited automated fraud screening on our behalf — a temporary block on IP addresses with repeated failed transactions, lasting a few hours, and on cards associated with those addresses, lasting a few days. Neither has a legal or significant effect on you.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, send it to another service, or delete it. Email service@wadegreens.com and we will action it. There is no charge.

California residents

If you live in California you have the right to know what personal information we hold, to have it corrected or deleted, and to have it sent to you or another service. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing for you to opt out of. You may appoint an authorized agent to make a request for you — email us and we will tell you what we need to verify it.

Customers outside the United States

We sell and deliver within the United States only. We are not set up to serve customers in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, and we do not target them. If you contact us from outside the US we will still honor a request to access or delete your information.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart working, keep you signed in, carry you through checkout, and understand how the site is used. Blocking the essential ones will stop the cart and checkout from working.

Our Cookie Policy sets out what we use and how long each one lasts. Shopify publishes the full technical list with durations at shopify.com/legal/cookies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Guidance for every major browser is at allaboutcookies.org.

Do Not Track

Because there is no agreed standard for handling them, we do not change what we collect when we receive a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

We may update this policy to reflect changes to how we work, or for legal or operational reasons. The date below tells you when it last changed.
