At Wade Greens Farm, we fortunately do not have to worry about the pesticides; however, life finds a way and bacterias such as E. Coli can cause illnesses. Particularly for those with developing or struggling immune systems, this is should be an essential part of your routine.
No one likes extra steps in the process; however, fortunately all we need to do get a proper clean is to use food grade hydrogen peroxide. Now, it doesn't come off the bat that hydrogen peroxide can be harmless as it sounds somewhat dangerous. One certainly cannot drink hydrogen peroxide without having medical side effects. Now that being said there's a vast difference in "food grade" versus the typical hydrogen peroxide you'd purchase from a pharmacy. Now that this has been addressed let's get to where you get source the food grade hydrogen peroxide and the proper amount to use on some typical examples of produce you'd use in your meals.
